“The amount of smart ass inside of you literally passes by my own level of being a smart ass right now.” He stated rather bluntly and dryly, and he seemed unfazed, and not even affected by her glare, as if his day eliminated him to feel completely guilty or asinine in front of the French-Canadian female. He was being distant again. Another episode, if you will. “—? … I… Thanks. You didn’t exactly have to do anything, you do realize that, right?” He said in a calm state of surprise and shock of the present given to him, now in his vice of his hands.
Quite obvious to her venomous tone of voice, he could tell his distance and completely detached persona was working so well, she didn’t realize his attitude wasn’t as completely so thought to be. Truthfully to a point, he was feeling asinine, but it was only fueling said feelings and persona’s inside of Aiden. Watching her silently before redirecting himself moments later to the box and over to the opened door, he sighed with no sound escaping from his body and mouth. “I need to, anyway. I need to recuperate.” He admitted towards her.
Slowly. He opened up to a point.
Taking the present with him, he gazed it slowly before he watched her taking minutes of herself away from life on the terrace and balcony, as he just walked himself back into the living room.
It was his fault for not explaining himself, like usual, to her. But she seemed ignorant anyway to his current attitude to her own concurrent attitudes.
Seeing that she begun to pass by him, entering into the living room, his eyes were set upon being detached, almost too overly cold for anybody who was his friend to see, and he was becoming arduous to deal with, as he meanwhile was becoming irritated with the day’s current events unfolding as of now. He wasn’t amused with Clara.
He was nearing to becoming pissed, now.
{ ⌛ }— “I’m not a complete idiot that you make me out to be sometimes Aiden…” Saying as she returned to him, standing in front of him. A water bottle in her hand which had been retrieved from the kitchen not 10 seconds ago. Setting it down onto the couch, Then taking his gift and setting it on top of the couch cushion, placing her palms onto his cold a stoic cheeks, before looking deep into his hues, trying to search for something that was there once before. Unable to locate it’s whereabouts at the current and present moment, he just looked like someone pissed in his cornflakes.
Sighing a little bit, her thoughts then drifted as she shifted her gaze away from his for a moment. “I’m sorry…just been having too much on my mind lately….” Her hands and digits dropping down to his upper arms as they laid there for a moment. “It wasn’t right of me to make you feel less than for something that is so trivial and unimportant…I saw the news….I’m sorry you had a bad day…” She absolutely hated admitting when she was wrong especially to him, he would never let her live this down ever, or maybe.
Oh who the fuck was she kidding even if this was a super serious moment he wouldn’t let her live this down. Another sigh escaped through her lips as she thought for a moment longer, Moving her hands and having them drift to his collar she shifted and took off his large leather styled trench coat, letting it drop on the floor in a huff. Moving her now cold digits back up to his matching cheeks, moving her body closer to his own before she kissed him gently on the lips.
Feeling a shudder slowly creep down her spine, not helping but to close her optics as she kissed him. Taking his lower lip between her teeth and tugging on it a little bit as she continued to kiss him deeply.
